Assemblage is a style that is pretty much self-explanatory. Items are added to the canvas pretty much like collage, but with a 3 dimensional aspect to it. There is a new title to this style called "skeuomorphism" This is by no means a new style - Picasso among many others have been doing work like this - But my work involves gold and silver leaf with circuit boards.
