The images in this gallery represent the different types of projects I've worked on during the past twenty years as an illustrator. Many assignments called for caricatures (or characterizations as Mort Drucker would put it) of celebrities. The strongest influence for me in this area was the work of the French Caricaturists Jean Mulatier and Patrice Ricord which I enjoyed as a boy in the seventies. Another area of specialization for me has always been animal Illustration. I've included a couple of my personal favorites here. I will offer more prints in the future based on the feedback posted here and on my own Website; which is currently under construction. I've also included one of my Old Master Reproductions. When doing a reproduction I am not interested in just copying the original,but rather trying to make a new work inspired by a masterpiece. I always find find Master works the best source for new and fresh ideas, even though they are centuries old. I plan on eventually posting a gallery entirely comprised of work reflecting specific paintings by the Masters.
